It should be noted that I think Canada’s best journalists are mostly female. But I really do believe the format was designed to virtue signal to the rest of us about modern feminism. Obviously this doesn’t mean I harbour ill will towards females in general, but the whole thing felt like an experiment gone awry.
Opinions
Justin Trudeau bombshell rumours a symptom of bad faith journalism
Good journalists exist in this country. They just all happen to work for shitty outlets. Political biases, once avoided as to at least appear objective, are now so pronounced that the slant is accepted reality.
Trudeau’s blackface blunder should cancel Cancel Culture
What should come next is a reckoning, an adjustment in how we handle the sins from our pasts.
Axis of Feeble: How Kow-Towing to Twenty-Somethings is Killing Our Society
There is a crisis within our culture, an axis of feeble hell bent on placating the least experienced among us; three separate entities that, through utter weakness and fear of economic reprisals, have unwittingly created a new society where rules and behaviour are governed by people with almost zero life experience.
Trudeau’s Timid Debate Strategy An Affront to All Canadians
Trudeau is afraid of coming off like a phony. He is afraid of being criticized by more than one opponent. He is afraid he will have to talk about SNC Lavalin. He is afraid of answering for his government’s record. He is afraid of being seen as an empty pair of socks.
Dittmar
I wrote about Dittmar the other day, a few days after he passed away, and I have a couple of regrets. Not because a few people felt I was being disrespectful, but because I took some time to reflect and realized I only told half his story. For real though, it would take like 100 articles to tell Dittmar’s full story.
Eric
We never found out if it was an accident, or if Eric was trying to kill himself. A few days ago, Eric died from an overdose. We do not know if it was intentional.
What happened to feminism?
The truth is, anyone can make up words and use them to brand people we are pissed off at. It isn’t difficult. But the reason why silly, made up words can be freely used by radical feminists, while men must always abide by some invisible rule book when they dare to speak, is the Oppressed VS Oppressor trope, which gives license for hypocrisy based on perceived hierarchical status.
A system of self ID puts cisgender women in danger
Progressive activists and pundits have called the concept of a person lying about being tans a ‘boogeyman’, and a talking point for far right maniacs. Of course, firebombing everyone with the label of being a bigot is a go-to tactic for simpletons, as most of us, once we fully understand how easy it is to claim the identity of the opposite sex, immediately understand how silly and potentially dangerous it is.
